To clean the tanks is a necessary process for beer brewing, usually there have four steps:
1)Washing by city water Intermittent washing for 15 minutes(three times, every time 5 minutes.After the water drained in the tanks carry out next washing and keep liquor valve unblocked)by city water before the material into the tanks.
2)Washing by caustic soda After the water drained and washing the tanks for 20 minutes by concentration at 2% NaOH solution, temperature at 50-80℃. When the concentration become below, we need suplement it in time. And reclye the caustic solution after finished the cycle.(Note protection-with protect equipment and forbid the limb to touch the sulution).
3)Washing by city water again After washing by caustic solution,we use the city intermittent washing for 15 minutes.The method is same with 1)
4)Washing by Hydrogen peroxide When the city water drained, we use the hydrogen peroxide to wash about 20 minutes by clcle. The concentration at 300-400PPm.Closed the vent,out valve and liquor walve after drained the rest hydrogen peroxide.
