It will produce heat when the yeast in the process of fermentation. For the fermenting and maturing can go on in the set temperature, it must need to cooling.
The cooling method Indirect cooling method and direct cooling method.
1)Indirect cooling method
The refrigerant is ethanol or mixture of glycol with water. It will cooling in the chiller evaporator. The temperature control at about -5℃ and mainly used for wort and fermenter cooling.
2)Direct cooling method
The liquid ammonia directly evaporator and absorb the heating in the conical fermenter, then will cooling the wort.
Cooling jacket 1)Indirect cooling method. The ethanol or mixture of glycol with water go through the cooling jacket. It adopt horizontal flow pipe,the liquid go into from bottom and then go out from top side. And it must can under the pressure of coolant in stationary state.
2)Direct cooling method
The refrigerant in the cooling jacket is liquid ammonia, the flow style is vertical. The working pressure can reach about 1.16MPA.
