The principle is sparging the cleaning fluid into the surface ot the tanks, so can clean and sterilization. There mainly have three factors:
Part 1: Cleaning fluid According to the use style, it can divid into disaposable and recyle use. If adopt disaposable use, there has little risk to contamination with low concentration. But with high operate cost and high energy consumption. The method usually used small scale or high demands for cleaning level. The other one is recyle used at the brewery. With lower consumption and lower energy consumption. But with big investment and need occupy large space.
Part 2: Cleaning temperature According to the operate temperature, it can divid into cold wash and hot wash. The cold wash usually used for cleaning big tanks and consider the safety for operating. For fermenters, the cleaning temperature won’t be high 45℃ in any circumstance. Otherwise will destroy the fermenter. For small tanks、pipe line,facilitates usually use hot wash.
Part 3: The type of cleaning device General use wash machine to clean the tanks, the cleaning fluid sparging into the tanks surface, then the cleaning fluid flowing along the tank wall. Usually can form layer on the tanks with little mechanical action. And mainly realized by chemistry.
