What is the stack condensor in the boiling kettle tank
Basically, a stack condensor is when the kettle steam vent has a cold water spray jet(s) in it to 'condense' the steam. The condensed steam then flows to drain (sometimes through a heat exchange to recover the heat energy). Usually in the stack itself, sometimes stack is directed/piped to another standalone unit in which the vapours are condensed via cold water spray heads. Water/condensate then flows from this unit to drain. Our 10hL brewkettle is like this.
If the vapour condenser is in the stack, it must be designed to prevent the water/steam from returning to the brewkettle.
