Recent years, some big brewery company do many research about mash agitator, also develop new style agitator.
No matter which type of mash agitator/mash mixer,the basic demands is same.
It can make mix material such as solid particles in suspension and evenly distribute in the liquid. So it can avoid partial over heating and scorch the wort result in the quality of beer.
So what is the features of new style mash agitator?
1)Long and wide paddle,also arranged symmetrically. As we know, when the heat to heating medium by convection, it must assure will not result in partial over heating, so keep heat conduction is stable.
2)The paddle has dip and openings. If the paddle has correct dip, the mash can shape rotary motion and assure the temperature is evenly heating. Also can reduce shear force and ocygen inhalation.
3)The mash agitator device is liftable. When the mash is heating, the agitator in the low location, it can reforce heat conduction by convenction in the heat surface, also can avoid scorch,
4)The agitator/stirrer device adopt VFD, greatly enhanced flecibility. The agitator device adopt VFD, we can adjust stir speed according to mash process. Also can avoid produce over big shere force.
